The Leica Sofort 2 is a hybrid instant camera that allows users to choose which photographs the device may print. Weighing 320 grams, the Sofort 2 has a CMOS-Sensor and a Leica Summar (which is equivalent to a 28mm lens) with an aperture range from f/2 to f/16. There is no official price for the Leica Sofort 2 in the Philippines, but it is priced for USD 389 which is roughly PHP 22,030. In a grand celebration held at the Greenbelt Mall in Makati City, Leica Camera Asia Pacific opens the first-ever Leica Store in the Philippines with the help of Lucerne Group who has been named as official distributor and reseller of Leica cameras in the country.
