Leica has revealed the successor of the Leica Sofort after seven years: the Leica Sofort 2. The Leica Sofort 2 is a hybrid instant camera that allows users to choose which photographs the device may print. Users can also send images they've taken from their smartphones to the Sofort 2 to print them. Weighing 320 grams, the Sofort 2 has a CMOS-Sensor and a Leica Summar (which is equivalent to a 28mm lens) with an aperture range from f/2 to f/16. There is no official price for the Leica Sofort 2 in the Philippines, but it is priced for USD 389 which is roughly PHP 22,030. In a grand celebration held at the Greenbelt Mall in Makati City, Leica Camera Asia Pacific opens the first-ever Leica Store in the Philippines with the help of Lucerne Group who has been named as official distributor and reseller of Leica cameras in the country. It’s for this very reason, however, that Leica Camera Asia Pacific chose to team up with the home-grown company.
