Along with the Ideapad 100S and other new Ideapad-series notebooks, Lenovo also launched the Miix 700 – the company’s new hybrid convertible that looks a whole lot like the Microsoft Surface on the outside. The Miix 700 is outfitted with a 12-inch touchscreen display with a 2160 x 1440 resolution, and a pair of 5-megapixel shooters placed at front and back of the device. Similar to the MS Surface, the Miix 700 has flap at the back that serves as a kickstand and is paired to a stylish-looking keyboard, complete with a trackpad, which attaches to the tablet using a magnet. As for its internals, the Lenovo Miix 700 can be configured to have up to 256GB of SSD and up to 8GB of RAM. Running the show for the Miix 700 is one of the newly-launched Intel Core M processors under Skylake lineup which are primarily geared for low-power computing.
