During our line tour of LG Display at the Paju LCD Factory, an LG liaison reveals that they're the ones that provide Apple with the multi-touch screen for the upcoming iPad. LG has been supplying this type of display for the Apple iMac so it's not a surprise they're doing the same for the iPad. When pressed how many display panels they were making for Apple's iPad, an LG General Manager would not disclose but says its a lot. Apple has revealed that the iPhone 12 and 12 mini now come in the color Purple. As per Apple, the new finish complements the beautiful flat-edge design of the iPhone 12. Moreover, the company also revealed that both iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in Purple ship with the latest iOS 14.5, which features the ability to unlock iPhone with Apple Watch while wearing a face mask, an enhanced Apple Podcasts app with a redesigned show and episode pages, and a Search tab, as well as new emoji. Additionally, Apple revealed that Siri no longer has a default voice and will include more voice options in English. Apple announced the official date for its upcoming Apple Event.
