LinkedIn has released their Jobs on the Rise in 2021 report for Southeast Asia, giving us an insight on what jobs are on demand for this year as well as the skills needed to succeed in these roles. As a result, LinkedIn expects that the demand for workers with tech skills will remain, from specialized engineers to cybersecurity talent and data analysts. Social Media Marketing and Front-end Web Development have a high prominence in the Philippines, according to a future of skills report done by LinkedIn. As for the Philippines, apart from Social Media Marketing and Front-end Web Development, Human-Centered Design ranked third. LinkedIn, one of the most popular business and employment service websites in the world, has released their 2019 Emerging Jobs in the Philippines report which shows that the demand for jobs requiring hybrid skills is rising. For the last five years, LinkedIn's analyzations found that the top five emerging jobs in the country are related to technology. According to the report, the top five emerging jobs in the Philippines are as follows: Data Scientist Application Development Analyst Back End Developer Full Stack Engineer Sales Development Representative The company noted that the rise of employment with hybrid skillsets is due to the evolution of the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry.
