Liquipel, the company behind the "Watersafe" technology for mobile devices has announced a new technology called Skins that safeguards your smartphones from blunt force. In case you're not familiar with the Liquipel Watersafe, it is a liquid repellant coating that protects your electronic device against accidental spills, splashes and brief shallow submersion. Liquipel takes device protection a notch higher with Skins - a new high-impact four-layer film that not only protects smartphones from scratches but also from physical blows that can lead to a shattered screen. Now combine this with Watersafe and you can have a more carefree approach towards your device. However, Liquipel technology don't come cheap. The Watersafe smartphone treatment costs $60 (around Php2,600) while the Skin costs $15 a pop (almost Php700). That should set you back $75 for a full Liquipel protection.
