Liquipel, the company behind the “Watersafe” technology for mobile devices has announced a new technology called Skins that safeguards your smartphones from blunt force.
In case you’re not familiar with the Liquipel Watersafe, it is a liquid repellant coating that protects your electronic device against accidental spills, splashes and brief shallow submersion. The only problem is that it doesn’t protect the device from blunt force.

Liquipel takes device protection a notch higher with Skins – a new high-impact four-layer film that not only protects smartphones from scratches but also from physical blows that can lead to a shattered screen. Now combine this with Watersafe and you can have a more carefree approach towards your device.
However, Liquipel technology don’t come cheap. The Watersafe smartphone treatment costs $60 (around Php2,600) while the Skin costs $15 a pop (almost Php700). That should set you back $75 for a full Liquipel protection.
