#LRT-1 Cavite Extension completion

Tugade has revealed that the LRT-1 Cavite Extension is now 55.6% complete. Furthermore, the LRT-1 Cavite Extension can accommodate 500,000 to 800,000 passengers per day. To recall, in January 2021, the DOTr has announced the arrival of the first batch of trains allocated for the LRT-1 Cavite Extension. LRT-1 private operator Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) has announced that the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Phase 1 viaduct is now complete. Phase 1 of the 11.7km LRT-1 Cavite Extension project covers a total of five (5) stations: Dr. Once completed, the LRT-1 Cavite Extension project is expected to benefit the residents in Southern Metro Manila, the province of Cavite, and nearby areas. “LRMC is glad to welcome 2022 with this LRT-1 Cavite Extension accomplishment. Multiple lanes along the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) will experience temporary closure from August 6 to 10 to give way for the LRT-1 Extension Project.
