LRT-1 private operator Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) has announced that the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Phase 1 viaduct is now complete. Phase 1 of the 11.7km LRT-1 Cavite Extension project covers a total of five (5) stations: Dr. Once completed, the LRT-1 Cavite Extension project is expected to benefit the residents in Southern Metro Manila, the province of Cavite, and nearby areas. “LRMC is glad to welcome 2022 with this LRT-1 Cavite Extension accomplishment. Multiple lanes along the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) will experience temporary closure from August 6 to 10 to give way for the LRT-1 Extension Project. (LRMC), has announced that there will be a temporary lane closure along CAVITEX (southbound) near Paranaque bridge starting September 15 to give way to pipe relocation works by Maynilad as part of the construction of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension.
