It has been reported that Apple is expected to release MacBook Pros with the new M2 Pro and M2 Max chipset around late 2022 to early 2023. Based on the Power On newsletter of Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, through 9to5Mac, he said that the objective of Apple is to launch the MacBook Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max as early as the coming fall. He also said that the design and features of the new Macs are “likely to stay roughly the same” and Apple only did a revamping of its design, including more ports, a MagSafe charger, an improved display and a webcam. The 14-inch and 16-inch models that will house the new M2 Pro and M2 Max chips are expected to be improved versions of last tear’s M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. Based on Gurman’s newsletter, the new M2 Pro and M2 Max will focus more on the graphics side, which means they’ll be more targeted to other professional users who do lots of multimedia, coding, and others.
