In particular, both machines will debut Apple's newest M2 Ultra processor. Let's take a look at each new product, starting with the new M2 Ultra CPU. Apple says the M2 Ultra is their largest chip ever, which turns out to be the by-product of two M2 Max chips connected together — essentially doubling performance. The M2 Ultra supports up to 192GB of RAM, which Apple says is 50 percent more than the M1 Ultra. The 24-core CPU of the M2 Ultra consists of 16 high-performance cores and 8 high-efficiency cores. Both the new Mac Pro and the new Mac Studio can carry the new M2 Ultra processor. As mentioned earlier, the M2 Ultra on the Mac Pro carries with it 24 CPU cores, 76 GPU cores, 800 GB/s of memory bandwidth, up to 192 GB of RAM, support for up to 8 displays, and the ability to playback 22 streams of 8K ProRes footage. The new Mac Pro with the M2 Ultra chip will start at Php 449,990 and will be available on store shelves starting June 13.
