Been looking for a protective case for the 11.6" Macbook Air for months and finally found one yesterday -- a Speck SeeThru Satin. The case is very thin and hugs the entire outer shell of the Macbook Air 11" (similar to the hard plastic covers for the iPhone). The thin case did not add a lot of thickness to the slim form factor of the Macbook Air so you will still appreciate the curves of the unit. There's no other cae for the MacBook Air 11.1" so can't really compare it but so far this one works just fine. Apple has introduced a new MacBook Air powered by the M5 chip, bringing faster performance, improved AI capabilities, and larger starting storage to the company’s thin and lightweight laptop. The new MacBook Air is available in 13-inch and 15-inch models and comes in Sky Blue, Midnight, Starlight, and Silver. Apple said the MacBook Air with M5 can deliver up to four times faster AI performance compared to the previous M4 model, and up to 9.5 times faster than the MacBook Air with the M1 chip. The new MacBook Air includes Apple’s N1 wireless chip, which supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 for faster and more reliable wireless connections.
