Samsung has already started seeding its Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to its 2014 flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5, nearly a month ago in select variants only. Android 6.0 Marshmallow brings several new features including Google Now on Tap, a feature that improves Google Now’s context awareness. Given that the roll-out is being pushed out in phases and for those who have not yet received the OTA update can look for it in the settings. Head into the Settings – About Device – Software Update menu to see if the update is available for your device. As is customary after announcing the hardware, Google officially outs the latest version of its mobile operating system Android 6.0 or more commonly known as Android Marshmallow. Unsurprisingly, the newly-launched Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and Pixel C will come pre-installed with Android Marshmallow out of the box. The update improves RCS messaging by adding support for replying to specific messages in conversations with Android users. Other changes include remote Apple TV software updates through the Home app, AI editing support for RAW photos, camera interface improvements and new options for managing Siri conversations.
