Maya and JuanHand have both expressed support for the Scam Safe initiative of the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), aimed at protecting Filipinos from online scams and cyber fraud. Maya said its support aligns with its long-standing focus on cybersecurity. According to Maya’s Head of Corporate Affairs Toff Rada, partnerships between the government and private companies are important in responding to cyber threats. Alongside platform security, Maya continues to educate users through its ScamPatrol campaign, which shares tips on spotting and avoiding scams. PayMaya has launched a new promo that gives you a cashback when you pay your bills this month of September. When you pay your bills via PayMaya every Friday and Saturday throughout the month of September, you’ll get a PHP 100 cashback on your first three transactions. Customers who pay at least three unique bills within the month worth PHP 5,000 and above until September 30, will get the chance to enter a raffle. PayMaya will pick 100 raffle winners to take home PHP 10,000 each.
