MediaTek has recently announced its latest 5G chipset, the Dimensity 720. As part of the brand's lineup of 5G-ready processors, the MediaTek Dimensity 720 will make 5G connectivity more accessible to consumers. It features MediaTek’s HyperEngine 2.0 technology, fast LPDDR4X memory, universal flash storage (UFS) 2.2, supports 90Hz displays, and MediaTek MiraVision HDR10+ for video streaming. It ships with MediaTek APU 3.0, an AI Processing Unit for precise AI camera functions, and supports up to single 64MP or 20+16MP dual cameras, and For better power efficiency, the processor features MediaTek 5G UltraSave technology. Stay tuned for upcoming phones that sport MediaTek’s Dimensity 720 chipset. Mediatek will be unveiling two chipsets, namely, the Helio P23 and the Helio P30 at Beijing, China on August 29. MediaTek has just announced the world's first octa-core SOC for smartphones that supports 4G LTE connectivity and powered by the latest Cortex-A17 CPUs from ARM - the MT6595. The MediaTek MT6595 is the company's premium mobile solution for smartphones which utilizes four ARM Cortex-A17 plus four Cortex-A7 CPUs, ARM big.LITTLE architecture, and a PowerVR Series6 GPU.
