MediaTek has announced two additions to its Helio G series, the Helio G96 and Helio G88 SoCs, which provide an upgrade for smartphone displays and photography capabilities. According to MediaTek, the Helio G96 SoC will ensure support for 120Hz displays with up to FullHD+ resolution. Additionally, the Helio G96 120Hz display has no limitation in DDIC supply, C-phy or D-phy interface, and would support both LCD or AMOLED displays.
