MediaTek is reportedly planning to integrate Nvidia GPUs into its next-generation mobile processors. DigiTimes cited industry sources claiming that the Nvidia powered MediaTek chips will be featured in both smartphones and notebooks. The report does not specify the exact specifications, but the two companies are said to be replacing the Arm-based graphics solution in an upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9000 series chip with an Nvidia GPU, which could arrive as soon as 2024. It's worth noting that back in 2021, MediaTek and Nvidia demoed a laptop powered by a Kompanio 1200 chipset paired with a GeForce RTX 3060 GPU.
