Meralco has announced that it will refund customers the convenience fees charged by their payment gateway partners. According to a notification posted in the Meralco app, the company is crediting back the PHP 47 convenience fee that customers paid between May 16, 2020, to July 15, 2020, and should reflect on their respective debit, credit, or e-wallet accounts. Additionally, Meralco will also make system changes by July 16, 2020, to temporarily suspend the convenience fee until further notice. However, your usual paper bill won't arrive in the mail, given the situation So, how do you view your Meralco bill and pay for it online? You can either do this through the website online.meralco.com.ph or the Meralco mobile app. If you already have an existing Meralco bill, enter the total kWh reading and bill date from any of your previous bills for the past 2 months. If you haven't received your first Meralco bill, enter the Bill Deposit and Payment date found on your bill deposit receipt. After submitting your registration, you will receive an email for confirmation with a link that will redirect you to the Meralco online website where you will set your password.
