Facebook just pushed an update for its messaging platform with full features making its camera more fun and powerful for sharing. If you think Messenger will not get any more complicated, the new camera update gives the basic camera feature art and special effects. Also, it makes the camera the main tool you'd use for communication. The update basically makes Messenger a lot like Snapchat and takes a few cues from its sister app, Instagram. The new Messenger update is already rolling out to all Android and iOS devices. A reader emailed in asking for advise on which dSLR camera to get with a budget under Php40,000. I'm biased towards Canon cameras but here's my list of possible kits you can buy with that budget. Other changes include remote Apple TV software updates through the Home app, AI editing support for RAW photos, camera interface improvements and new options for managing Siri conversations.
