Meta canceled the development of an android-powered, smartwatch with two cameras this week based on the report of Bloomberg. It houses the usual features common in a smartwatch such as activity tracking, music playback, and messaging. The possible reason for the cancellation is the second camera which is located at the backside of the smartwatch. This feature is a top priority for Meta for it translates nerve signals from the wrist towards the digital commands and another benefit of it is that through the feature ‘ electromyography ’ it uses the user’s hand to serve as the controller for other devices that leaning toward the metaverse.
