Asset Reality recently announced its partnership with Metamask in improving digital asset recovery for those who have fallen victim to scams. Metamask is one of the most widely used digital wallets with over 30 million users. But with the exponential growth in the cryptocurrency and Web3 space, many users have also fallen victim to online scammers and hackers. Through the partnership with Asset Reality, Metamask will now be able to help victims all over the globe recover their digital assets whenever possible. Victims of scams would need to report their losses on Metamask, with Asset Reality doing the heavy lifting by handling the investigations into scam operations such as phishing. And while Asset Reality's services may be free for Metamask users, victims may still need to cover any legal cost if they decide to pursue further and gain the attention of law enforcement. Through this industry-leading partnership with Asset Reality, ConsenSys and MetaMask want to allow victims to join together, build cases against these scam operations and bring them to justice.
