Xiaomi has launched a new pair of TWS earbuds at a lower price point, the Mi Air 2S TWS. The Mi Air 2S TWS uses the new binaural synchronous transmission technology paired with an upgraded dual-core chipset to transmit sound to both the left and right earphones at the simultaneously. This reduces the sound latency while boosting the connection of the left and right earbuds. Moreover, the Mi Air 2S is also compatible with LHDC Bluetooth 5.0, which comes with a low latency mode to reduce sound delay further. The Mi Air 2S TWS is now available for pre-orders in China and will be available for purchase starting April 9. At PHP 12,995, these earbuds clearly sit in the premium segment and after spending some time with them, it’s obvious that soundcore wants the Liberty 5 Pro Max to feel like more than just another pair of earbuds. At the same time, it does feel a little over the top for a pair of earbuds, but that’s also part of what makes it interesting. The earbuds get fairly loud, the bass has a deep and satisfying punch and the mids still sound natural enough for vocals, podcasts and casual music listening. Meanwhile, the Wish 107.5 version of 'What If I Miss You for the Rest of My Life' highlighted the earbuds' ability to handle vocal-focused performances fairly well.
