The Redmond-based company has officially announced its own wearable device called the Microsoft Band which features a 1.4-inch touch screen display, water and splash resistant body, and a slew of sensors to keep track of your activities. The Microsoft Band aims to be your fitness companion by sporting a number of sensors like an optical heart rate sensor, GPS, ambient light sensor, skin temperature sensor, and UV sensor to name a few. It's a cloud-based service that provides actionable insights based on the data collected from the Microsoft Band and fitness apps you use with it. The Microsoft Band has a price tag of $199 and works with Windows Phone, iPhone, and Android. Microsoft has just announced Copilot Health. Copilot Health is a new health-focused AI experience within Microsoft Copilot designed to help users understand their medical information and health data. Copilot Health gathers health records, wearable data and medical history into one place. The system can analyze activity levels, sleep patterns, vital signs, medications and lab results to help users better understand trends in their health.
