Mitsubishi Motors and Meralco recently unveiled its electric vehicle (EV) quick charging station at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Central Office in Quezon City. The charging station was donated by Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) to reduce environmental pollutions following a grant of 10 EV units from MMC from its Mitsubishi i-MiEV and Outlander PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) lines. The i-MiEV is Mitsubishi's five-door hatchback electric car, while the Outlander PHEV is the world's first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle mid-size SUV. Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has updated their price list (effective February 1) after the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN). Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has issued a recall of four car models sold in the country: the ASX, Outlander, Lancer EX and Lancer Evolution X, due to problems with the brake booster, brake lamp switch and engine drive belt pulley. A total of 4,255 Mitsubishi are to be recalled and will undergo safety recall inspections.
