The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has released the new and heftier fines for illegally parked vehicles for 2019. 18-008 which puts heftier fines for illegally parked vehicles: • Attended Vehicle - PHP 1,000 (from PHP 200) • Unattended Vehicle - PHP 2,000 (from PHP 500) • Obstruction - PHP 1,000 (PHP 150) The MMDA can also issue a new ticket if the violator did not remove the illegally parked vehicle within 3 hours, racking up fines of up to PHP 4,000. Motorist can settle their fines at Bayad Center outlets or at the MMDA headquarters in Makati. The new fines will take effect on January 7, 2019.
