Smart Communications, the mobile arm of PLDT, has rolled out a new feature that lets its users make video calls directly from their phones without the need for apps like Messenger, Zoom, or WhatsApp. This expansion is meant to give customers smoother and faster services for video calls, streaming, and even mobile gaming. With ViLTE, Smart says it is taking communication to the next level by making video calling simpler and more accessible for everyone. We've got over a hundred submissions from our recent poll on mobile 3G services. Quite a number of users have already been using their new uMobile SIMs too (7.19%) while fledgling Sun Cellular 3G is still down there. Surprisingly, very few people are using PLDT WeRoam -- a service which has practically been supplanted by SmartBro Mobile 3G. uMobile on the other hand, though an autonomous telco is still considered a Smart/PLDT property and their free ad-supported 3G services will certainly bump up their total numbers.
