#Motorcycle Mode

Waze has announced a new Motorcycle Mode designed specifically for riders, with the Philippines included among the first countries to receive the feature. The new mode uses artificial intelligence alongside Waze's real-time traffic data and motorcycle-focused map editors to provide routes that better suit two-wheelers. Unlike standard car navigation, Motorcycle Mode takes into account motorcycle-accessible shortcuts, road restrictions, and other route considerations to provide more accurate directions and estimated arrival times. It also alerts riders to road hazards that are particularly important for motorcycles, including potholes, speed bumps, raised crosswalks, shoulder endings, and narrow bridges. Motorcycle Mode is rolling out now on both Android and iOS in the Philippines, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Malaysia, Mexico, and Peru, with additional markets expected to follow. Alongside Motorcycle Mode, Waze is introducing several new AI-powered features powered by Google's Gemini. For users who prefer fewer interruptions while driving, Waze is also launching a global "Less Chatty" mode. It includes a new Motorcycle Mode and additional Gemini AI-powered tools.
