Mozilla has released a new update to their Firefox web browser, which they claim is the biggest update by far since launching Firefox 1.0 in 2004. Called "Firefox Quantum", Mozilla boasts that it is over twice as fast as the version of Firefox that was out six months ago, and that it uses less memory than the competition. Mozilla's research team studied how consumers browsed the web to create a new and improved UI, called "Photon". Mozilla is giving Firefox users something many have been asking for, a way to turn all AI features off. The Firefox update scheduled for release on February 24 will introduce an AI "kill switch" that enables users to deactivate all AI functions with a single command. Mozilla announces a new cookie restricting feature called ‘Total Cookie Protection’ for its Firefox users. Mozilla is known for its privacy protections that why they’ve announced the rolling out of this new cookie restricting feature on their browser.
