#mozilla firefox new update

Mozilla has released a new update to their Firefox web browser, which they claim is the biggest update by far since launching Firefox 1.0 in 2004. Called "Firefox Quantum", Mozilla boasts that it is over twice as fast as the version of Firefox that was out six months ago, and that it uses less memory than the competition. Mozilla's research team studied how consumers browsed the web to create a new and improved UI, called "Photon". Mozilla is giving Firefox users something many have been asking for, a way to turn all AI features off. The Firefox update scheduled for release on February 24 will introduce an AI "kill switch" that enables users to deactivate all AI functions with a single command. Meta has announced new updates to its Teen Accounts program, expanding safety features for young users across Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger.
