Mozilla has released a new update to their Firefox web browser, which they claim is the biggest update by far since launching Firefox 1.0 in 2004. Called "Firefox Quantum", Mozilla boasts that it is over twice as fast as the version of Firefox that was out six months ago, and that it uses less memory than the competition. Mozilla's research team studied how consumers browsed the web to create a new and improved UI, called "Photon".
