Elon Musk has now surpassed former President Barack Obama as the most followed person on Twitter. Musk now holds the title with 133.3 million followers on Twitter currently, whilst the former record holder, Barack Obama, currently has 133 million. This isn't entirely surprising since Musk does own the company and uses it to give updates regarding Twitter, voice his opinions, and tweet a bunch of memes. Apart from Musk and Obama, the top 10 most followed Twitter users today in no particular order are Justin Bieber, Cristiano Ronaldo, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Narendra Modi, Donald Trump, and Lady Gaga. Elon Musk has revealed that Twitter's cash flow still remains negative ever since he bought it last 2022, this is due to the fact that it has roughly seen a 50% drop in ad revenue along with a "heavy debt load". Elon Musk has appointed Linda Yaccarino, a former advertising chief at NBCUniversal, as the new CEO of Twitter to address the company's decline in ad revenue.
