#New York Apple event

Apple is changing how it launches new products by planning a three-day series of announcements starting on March 2. Instead of a single big event, the company will likely share news through daily online updates, ending with a "special Apple experience" on March 4. These physical gatherings will take place in New York, London, and Shanghai, where invited guests can test the new devices in person. Technology experts believe this shift away from a traditional stage presentation is a new way for Apple to let the products speak for themselves. As per Apple, the new finish complements the beautiful flat-edge design of the iPhone 12. Moreover, the company also revealed that both iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in Purple ship with the latest iOS 14.5, which features the ability to unlock iPhone with Apple Watch while wearing a face mask, an enhanced Apple Podcasts app with a redesigned show and episode pages, and a Search tab, as well as new emoji. Apple announced the official date for its upcoming Apple Event. Apple's senior vice president for marketing Greg Jozwiak also tweeted a virtual teaser for the event, sporting a swirling animated logo in hues of blue.
