Nintendo is set to open its first authorized retail store in the Philippines in May 2026. Nintendo is opening their first authorized retail store in the Philippines. Nintendo Switch users have largely relied on third-party and online options such as Maxsoft who have Shopee and Lazada stores. The upcoming store is expected to carry official Nintendo products. BPI said the rollout is part of its agency banking expansion, allowing customers to access banking services in retail stores. It lets customers to deposit money into BPI accounts through participating retail stores nationwide. Christine Tueres, managing director of RRHI, said: "Our partnership with BPI allows us to go beyond retail by offering convenient, accessible financial services within our stores, making essential transactions like deposits and withdrawals part of our customers’ regular shopping routines," she said. Samsung’s upcoming midrange smartphones, the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57, have reportedly been spotted in a physical retail store in the Philippines ahead of any official announcement.
