It looks like the Nintendo Switch 2 might leak its way into the spotlight before the official reveal. In a video by @Numerama on X (formerly Twitter), accessories maker Genki showed off the first mockup of the Nintendo Switch 2 at CES 2025—highlighting its magnetic Joy-Cons in action. Furthermore, the video revealed hints about the Switch 2’s release window, with accessory makers teasing an April launch. Previously, Nintendo confirmed that the Switch 2 could come around March which is the same time the company’s fiscal year conclude. Several stores in the Philippines have officially dropped pre-order details for the new Nintendo Switch 2. The retail prices are the same as those listed on the Nintendo Official Store via Shopee, as follows: PHP 31,990 - Nintendo Switch 2 (console only) PHP 35,500 - Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle To recap, the new handheld now features a 7.9-inch 1080p LCD screen and can push up to 4K resolution when docked.
