Nintendo has just published its sales data for the fourth quarter of 2021. The Nintendo Switch, which has sold a total of 103.54 million units has now surpassed the Wii as the best-selling home console of Nintendo. The Nintendo Switch launched in 2017, and just completed this feat in 5 years. With the achievement, the Nintendo Switch also surpassed the original PlayStation which had 102.5 million units sold. The Nintendo Switch now sits at 5th place among the best-selling consoles of all time, which is led by the Sony PlayStation 2 which sold more than 155 million units. Several stores in the Philippines have officially dropped pre-order details for the new Nintendo Switch 2.
