The Nintendo Switch 2 is starting retail pre-orders this week on April 24 in the US. It will be priced at USD 450 (~PHP 25,000) for its console-only package and USD 500 (~PHP 28,000) with its bundle including Mario Kart World.

However, the company has increased the prices for its accessories which were announced alongside the console earlier this year. Buyers will now have to spend up to an additional USD 10 for accessories. At the very least, most offerings are only getting a five dollar bump.
Notably, the Samsung microSD Express Card (256GB) wasn’t initially mentioned for the console. This will set users back by about USD 60.
Games will remain priced as is, retailing at USD 70-80 (~PHP 4,000-4,500) for Donkey Kong Bananza and Mario Kart World. Sadly, many believe that this is still overpriced.

Nintendo cited the reasons for these as “changes in market conditions”. However, the US tariffs enacted by President Donald Trump are the likely reason for the price hike.
Nintendo has also said that other products may see changes in the future if the market keeps changing. Wrapping up, the Nintendo Switch 2 will be available starting June 5, 2025.
