Out of all the companies that bid to be the next NMP, only Mislatel Consortium, comprised of Udenna Corp., Chelsea Logistics Corp., and China Telecom, passed the initial evaluation. After careful evaluation of their bidding documents, the DICT has announced that Udenna Corp. They have partnered with China Telecommunications Corporation to bid for the 3rd telco spot. As for PT&T and Sear Telecom, they were disqualified from the bid for allegedly having incomplete documents. The NMP selection process is still ongoing. Converge, KT Corporation, and Teltech has released a statement today that they have decided not to bid in the New Major Player (NMP) program.
