In October, HMD Global brought to the Philippines the Nokia 5.1 Plus, an Android One-powered smartphone that sports a 5.86-inch screen, dual-rear cameras, and a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset. The Nokia 5.1 Plus is the lesser powered sibling of the Nokia 6.1 Plus but also offers a premium look and build. Unlike the Nokia 6.1 Plus though, this one has a glossy plastic frame but retained the 2.5D curved glass on the front and back. The Nokia 5.1 Plus feels comfortable in the hand thanks to the rounded sides. Powering the Nokia 5.1 Plus is a MediaTek Helipo P60 chipset which is the same chipset found on the OPPO F9 and VIVO V11i. HMD Global recently announced that the Nokia 5.1 Plus with 19:9 HD+ display, Helio P60 processor, and Android 8.1 Oreo (Android One), is now available in the Philippines. HMD Global is constantly shipping its devices in the Philippines and just recently, it announced the arrival of the Nokia 6.1 Plus and 5.1 Plus in the country. The Nokia 5.1 Plus features a 5.86-inch 19:9 HD+ display, a MediaTek Helio P60 processor, a 3GB RAM, a 32GB internal storage, a 13MP PDAF + 5MP dual rear cameras, an 8MP front, Android One OS, and a 3,060mAh battery.
