Meizu has revealed the roster of devices getting the next version of its Flyme OS upgraded to Android Nougat. The handsets that will surely get the new Nougat update are the following: Meizu PRO 6 Plus Meizu PRO 6 Meizu PRO 6s Meizu PRO 5 Meizu MX6 Meizu Note series (Note5, Note 3, etc) The announcement was made in time for the fifth anniversary of the Flyme OS. The official rollout of the company's new update for its devices is scheduled on July 10 in China. We all know Android updates come really slow to devices and to show how Nougat, the latest Android flavor, is taking its time, we take a look at the newest Android Dashboard stats. Sadly, though, Nougat (version 7.0, 7.1) is just at 7.1%. Even older Android versions have a larger share: KitKat at 18.8%, Jelly Bean at 9.1%. While the share of Nougat is low compared to other previous versions, it's gradually increasing from April's 4.9% share. With Android O already in the works, we're a bit skeptical how Nougat will be able to catch up since it's already turning one year old in the coming months.
