The Number Coding scheme in Metro Manila was suspended in 2020 due to the pandemic. Globe has partnered with Grab to improve its mobile network by collecting real-world data from daily trips across Metro Manila. said the government aims to finish the Metro Manila Subway project by 2028. The Metro Manila Subway is planned to be a 33-kilometer railway system. Foodie-centered app Zomato has just bid farewell to Metro Manila, as the restaurant-search-and-discovery service has decided to focus its operations in India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
