A month after launching the quad-core Fusion Bolt tablet, Cherry Mobile has just announced today their latest Jellybean smartphone with an HD display - the Omega HD. The Cherry Mobile Omega HD is the successor to the two-month old Omega. Following the official debut of the Flare HD, Cherry Mobile has announced two new handsets under the Omega lineup; the Omega XL and Omega HD 2X. Of the two, the Omega HD 2X has the upper hand in terms of configuration, comprising of a 5.7-inch IPS display with 1080p resolution, 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage to boot. The Omega XL, on the other hand, is now available in the market and currently retails for little under eight grand.
