#Omi AI device launch

A new AI wearable device has been announced in CES 2025 called Omi. Nik Shevchenko, Founder and CEO of Based Hardware states: "Our goal was to build a completely hands-free device, so you can look people in the eye and have real conversations without having to type notes on your phone." Users can pre-order the device for USD 89.00 (~PHP 5,208.50) through Omi's official website. Xiaomi has launched the Smart Band 10 Pro in the Philippines, adding a new fitness-focused wearable to its expanding AIoT lineup alongside the recently announced Xiaomi 17T Series. Xiaomi is also bundling a three-month trial for Clue Plus with the device, although availability may vary depending on market and eligibility. The Smart Band 10 Pro is part of Xiaomi’s broader push toward connected devices covering wellness, smart home products, and audio accessories. The device also runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3 and supports Xiaomi Home integration, allowing users to connect and manage compatible smart devices directly from the watch. Xiaomi said the Watch S5 46mm is part of its broader ecosystem expansion that aims to connect smartphones, wearables, audio devices, and smart home products under a unified experience.
