The OnePlus 15R has officially launched in the Philippines, bringing flagship-level performance, a massive battery, and AI-powered software features at a more accessible price point. Starting at PHP 36,990, the OnePlus 15R is positioned as a premium midrange smartphone that borrows heavily from OnePlus’ flagship lineup, offering high-end internals without crossing flagship pricing. Powering the phone is a 7,400mAh battery, the largest battery ever used in a OnePlus smartphone. To maintain sustained performance, OnePlus equips the 15R with a 360-degree Cryo Velocity Cooling System, featuring aerogel-based cooling, a 5,704mm² 3D vapor chamber, and a graphite-backed thermal layer. The OnePlus 15R runs OxygenOS 16 out of the box and includes built-in AI features such as Google Gemini, AI Writer, AI Recorder, and Plus Mind, which allows users to save and recall on-screen content for productivity and multitasking. For imaging, the OnePlus 15R uses a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera, the same sensor found on the flagship OnePlus 15. The camera system is enhanced by the OnePlus DetailMax Engine, delivering improved clarity, color accuracy, and motion handling. Durability is another highlight, with the OnePlus 15R carrying IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K water and dust resistance ratings making it one of the most rugged phones in its class.
