OnePlus has announced the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition, which is expected to feature the specs of the regular Nord 2 smartphone with touches of the timeless arcade legend PAC-MAN. According to the brand, what makes the OnePlus Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition is its color, material, and finish (CMF). "We wanted to deliver the same incredible specs and features you love from Nord 2 in a refreshing package that takes entertainment to the next level," said OnePlus in a forum. OnePlus also revealed that they haven't just overhauled OxygenOS’s UI and filled it with nods to PacMan but also gamified the device’s software experience by inserting games, challenges, and lots of exclusive (and hidden) PAC-MAN. The smartphone's design is yet to be unveiled, but you can already compete to win the phone, a pair of Buds Z, or early access vouchers from the OnePlus store by playing the OnePlus Nord 2 × PAC-MAN game. The OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition will be sold in a single variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage for EUR 529, GBP 499, and INR 37,999. When OnePlus released their first Nord last year in 2020, it sure was an attempt to return to its roots. The Nord editions are created to offer OnePlus’ top-level performance without breaking the bank too much.
