Ookla has released the results of their Speedtest Global Index rankings for May 2022, showing median speeds of 19.26 Mbps for mobile and 60.09 Mbps for fixed broadband. has won several awards at the Ookla Speedtest Awards, including “Fastest Fixed Network,” “Best Fixed Network,” and “Best Fixed Video Experience” in the Philippines. PLDT Home has been named the Philippines’ fastest broadband again, as it wins for the fifth consecutive year at the Ookla Speedtest Awards Q1-Q2.    The global benchmarking company, Ookla, announced that PLDT achieved a speed score of 77.91 and logged the fastest download and upload speeds at 210.83 Mbps and 234.21 Mbps, respectively. This recognition is testament to their exceptional performance in Q1-Q2 2022 based on Ookla's rigorous analysis of consumer-initiated tests taken with Speedtest” said Doug Suttles, Ookla CEO. Speedtest just released their Global Index report, a report that compares global internet speeds. The May 2018 Ookla Speedtest Global Index report, which compares the internet data  speeds from around the world, is now out.
