The Skyway Stage 3 will be partially operational starting tomorrow. Ang on their Facebook pages, the NLEX-SLEX Skyway Connector Road, or simply known as Skyway Stage 3, will be partially opened starting December 29, 2020. As a present to motorists, the Skyway Stage 3 will be free of charge for one month. The Skyway Stage 3 is a joint project among DPWH, Department of Transportation (DoTr), and San Miguel Corporation (SMC) under the Build Build Build program. San Miguel Corporation (SMC) has announced that starting July 12, 2021, the 18-km elevated Skyway Stage 3 will be a no-truck zone and will be dedicated to Class 1 vehicles with Autosweep RFID stickers. San Miguel Corporation has revealed its plan to put up a bus rapid transit (BRT) system on Skyway Stage 3. To recall, the 18-km Skyway Stage 3 elevated expressway was officially opened in January 2021. With the Skyway Stage 3, travel time from NLEX to SLEX will now take only 30 minutes, which previously takes around three hours.
