#Opensignal DITO Analysis

Opensignal has recently released the first look at DITO's mobile network experience. According to Opensignal, their initial look at the mobile experience of their DITO users in the Philippines shows that after an initial advantage immediately post-launch, their download and upload speeds in Central Metro Cebu and Davao City fell slightly to the point where they were similar to the overall scores of all operators. On the other hand, in terms of the Upload Speed Experience in Metro Manila, DITO users reported significantly higher scores than all the operator average in the three 30 day periods that Opensignal analyzed. Furthermore, Opensignal mentioned that these initial results are "impressive and bode well for the market’s long-term competitiveness," given that DITO’s competitors – Globe and Smart – have had far longer to roll out their 4G networks. DITO Recognized by Opensignal as Fastest Mobile Network in the Philippines In Opensignal’s April 2025 Mobile Network Experience Report, DITO Telecommunity was named the Fastest Mobile Network in the Philippines. Connectivity Aligned with Today’s Mobile Demands According to Opensignal, DITO recorded a 5G download speed of 280.8 Mbps and a 5G upload speed of 16.1 Mbps, leading among competitors. These results from OpenSignal’s independent analysis suggests that DITO’s network is designed to support both speed and the digital habits of today’s Filipino users.
