Hot on the heels of our review of the Synchros S700, JBL Philippines has sent us their latest Apple-friendly in-ear monitors – the Synchros S200i. Luckily, its earphone counterpart, the Synchros S200, didn’t disappoint one bit. Update: It was brought to our attention that there is a version of the Synchros S200 with an in-line Microphone that is compatible with "some" Android devices. But where the Synchros S200 shines the most is in the sound quality department. W Hotel, Singapore - As part of the AMD #FutureofCompute event, Joe WC Chan of Samsung announces two new monitors, the UE590 and UE850, that will support AMD FreeSync technology right off the bat. For the uninitiated, AMD FreeSync is a royalty-free technology that reduces, if not eliminates, screen tear which is usually caused by the non-optimized communication between the monitor and the graphics card. When paired to a GCN 1.1 graphics card (or any AMD graphics card from here on out), a FreeSync monitor connected via DisplayPort should provide a smoother gameplay that doesn't come at the cost of lag which we all saw with V-Sync.
