According to the latest report from Canalys, PC shipments for the year 2021 increased by 15% compared to 2020. PC shipments during the year grew globally, reaching 341 million units sold. “2021 was a watershed year in the history of the PC market, with the PC’s place at the center of work, learning and leisure truly cemented,” said Ishan Dutt, Senior Analyst at Canalys. The growth is significant despite shipments only growing 1% during the fourth quarter of 2021. Global PC market revenues are up 11% to USD 70 billion, while the full-year revenue rose 15% to USD 250 billion in 2021. With 20.6 percent market share for Q4 2021 and 22.2 percent for the entire year, Realme's 2021 performance has improved from its 2020 numbers by nearly 8 percent. Over 70 percent of Realme's total shipments were accounted by its C-series. OPPO is in second place for 2021 with 14.7 percent market share, albeit its annual shipment has only increased by 0.3 percent.
