After months of leak frenzy, Google today officially unveiled its latest Pixel 9 Series. The lineup comprises the vanilla Pixel 9, the Pixel 9 Pro and its XL variant. Also joining the series is the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which we’ll cover in another article. All models feature the Google Tensor G4 chipset built on a 4-nm process and paired with a Titan M2 security coprocessor. Other key highlights include support for Emergency SOS via satellite connectivity and Google's promise of up to seven major OS upgrades. For durability, all models except the foldable have IP68 dust and water resistance, and their displays are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Under the hood, the device is powered by a UNISOC T7250 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Powering the smartphone is a MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
