Plasma TV will become a rarer sight in stores as South Korean company, LG Electronics Inc., will end its own production of the said TV technology by November. The reason behind the demise of plasma TV production of LG is the decline in demand. Plasma TV hasn't been really a popular product in the past years due to the rapid growth of LCD technology. LG labelled plasma TV as "not a business anymore". LG is not the only major player to halt their plasma TV production. As plasma waves goodbye, LCD will triumph more and OLED should find its big share when it becomes cheaper.
